The Safari Hour

Once every day I have to do a short drawing session away from the house. The equipment is a small note pad in the back of my pocket planner and a ballpoint pen. The purpose of Safari Hour is to put a pause in the day in which to be still and hit the reset button, to recover my peace and bearings, and for that reason I choose equipment that will not encourage any thoughts about making a pretty drawing. Same for the subjects; I just draw whatever is in front of me, in this example the drive-thru at a burger place.
