A word about words

It’s easy to be seduced into writing what we think should be written, for example on this page done during a walk on a beautiful beach on Chesapeake Bay one might be tempted to write about the sun and the sea, the beauty of nature, and that’s fine if you write about stuff like that.. but I don’t. I wrote bluntly for my own recollection. The note in the corner reads, “Thursday beach walk. A graveyard of body parts – dried pieces of all kinds of dead things.”

Write for yourself. Be honest.
