Celebrating Tedium.

We all have days like this – an entire day of tedious projects and errands we don’t want to do, and it would be easy to lose this day dwelling on more enjoyable ways to spend the time. So my goal today is to celebrate the reason for these tasks. They each represent something going right: dealing with D’s school is due to her starting college. Sorting out paintings to ship is because I’m fortunate that people have bought them. And so on. With each task I’ll try to be fully present and grateful.
